It is! I'm just finishing up my Turn 10. I think the holidays and such slowed us down for a bit.

Having fun even though I totally expect to get thumped sometime soon.... And figuring out the new rules.

The Terran Academy is slowly spreading out and attempting to make contact with new species all friendly like. Crosses fingers.

Numbers/letters to make them clear, names to give them some personality, or some mix? Right now I'm working on a naming convention that makes sense, although with some variability so they seem more organic.

I usually generate up a list of 150-200 names for planetary systems based on the 'theme' of the empire I'm playing. Systems without planets, like Blue/Red Giants and Starless Nexi, get BG-/RG-/SN- then a number in the order I've found 'em.

So I've got a little bit of fiction from our game based on an amusing incident that happened this last turn. Should I post it here or make a topic in the fiction section?

Better make a new topic. It is not like the cost anything, and it will probably get lost in the middle of a thread.
We have finished turn 10!

I apologize to all the players for the time it took to process last turn, between weekend activities, traveling and research I always found a reason to push off processing all these first contacts...
Everyone seems now be running into someone wherever they poke their nose in.

I would not worry, it should be totally safe to mothball your home fleet now.
