So far, so good. In a way your future is a bit more optimistic than mine, at least at the outset. Like many military SF writers, I see a major war coming in the near future. At this point I'm somewhere between Weber and Laumer on the destruction scale, although closer to Weber's point of view. There will be a war with nukes used, but not the near total collapse of society that Laumer predicts.

We both see non governmental interests being a driving force in the coming decades. I foresee future generations of space craft being built with private funding, then being leased/sold to the government. I also see NASA becoming an agency similar to the FAA, in that it will provide certification for crews as well as tracking and providing launch/landing control for space craft.

I like what i've read so far. Can't wait to see more of it.

Its also incentive for me to get off my ass and get my own campaign back in gear so more of the story can be posted. ;)

Yeah, I'm finally back (again)! Sometimes, life (and 13yo son's) don't leave you time to play SF and earn a paycheck. :/

No, really! Matt actually made me an admin here!

The Russian captain seems to think like a few Lib-Prog politicians in Weber's novels.

Not intentional, I assure you. But if everyone agrees on everything, there's no drama. And the aliens are mysteries, as far as my fiction goes. So human vs. human is the source of tension in the stories, which are really interludes between combat.

Also, you all might have noted that I've done some minor re-writes of the first few parts. Still working on the third.
