Even Activision/Blizzard gave into that archetype with World of Warcraft now being free for the first 20 levels... unfortuntately I cannot stand MMORPG, but i can deal with shooters and RTS titles that way, now if only Blizzard would give in and let its RTS titles be that way...

Too bad 20 levels at WoW is about 2 days of questing if you know what you're doing. DDO is far better as a FtP game.

I would warn against making Starfire for Facebook "like" something else. Starfire is a unique experience and any Facebook application should reflect that. I would also like to see it introduce the actual game. The more people interested in Starfire's version of 4X the better.

I agree with Glaive7's comment above and would have to vote for option #3. I have played the fantasy version of the Mafia game and that feudal empire building game on Facebook as well. I want to play a 4x space game and if whatever is called StarFire for facebook is not StarFire, but a Mafia-style game with a facelift, I won't play it for long.

I'm also questioning the purpose of this poll since nobody has contacted the SDS about it yet...

I quit playing FBk Games a couple years ago.

The problem I see is that a game on FBK is unlikely to actually use any real Starfire rules...

I quite the same month that I tried them. Pretty much pointless and just clickbait for the creator of the game.

No it wouldn't be like a Starfire game we play now. It would have to be something that uses the IP but is a completely different game.
