21.04.03.1 If the winning (i.e., surviving) side had more
than one type of PCF in combat (as, for example, HT PCF and
their IND-2 allies or some HT PCF which were air-mobile and
some which were not), casualties may be handled in either of
two ways, at the discretion of the SM or the players (if there is
no SM).
(A) The victorious player may decide which of his troops
died. In this option, the player essentially chooses which
troops were used as cannon fodder to absorb fire intended for
their betters.

Clearly, some text relating to option B is missing. I was just wondering what it was? I can surmise that it had something to do with a percentage chance that given PCF die, but the procedure isn't spelled out. I realize the ground combat mechanics are quite different between ISF and later editions, but figured I'd ask.
